adobe photoshop is really all u need. 7.0 or CS is what i would recommend.
scrudelchiq
wut tool do i use??
spiralout987
all u would do is gather all the pictures u want first
  • make a new layer.
  • open each of the pictures u want.
  • copy each of your pictures one by one and paste them one by one, and i would recommend to put them all on different layers.
  • arrange them the way u want them and then do whatever else u want.

but wat if dey all have diff bgs?? dese banners i see seem lyk dey`re all in one picture...=\

oh...

what u can do is use the lasso tool (press L) and meticulously trace around the image u want

or...

use the background eraser tool (right click eraser tool and choose it) and "paint" the background until it erases what u don't want. that's tough 'cuz u would have to change brush shapes to get those curves and shit out.

yeeee...daz wut my prb...coz i tried usin dat....n d brush tool too..but den i cnt get it perfected lyk around d shape....if its a circle or sumtin...d outlyn around it ish lyk bleeeh. naw mean?? but yee...thanks for d help!! [=

what u could do too, which i sometimes do, is use the background eraser tool and zoom in like 1200% and set the brush size to like 4px and erase around the edges. it works well but it takes a long-ass time.
scrudelchiq
lol....i see daz time consumin` too..which one of dese ways dya recommend dat wud not take too much tym??
spiralout987
well it's different for different ppl...like for me i can never have a steady hand when using the lasso tool, but u may have one. and if u do it's the fastest way.

i use the bg erase tool and set it to big so i can erase the entire background of the image then zoom in to get the outline background of the image. but this one takes time and patience 'cuz u'll probably mess up a couple of times, like i do most of the time.

there's another way too that i'm not too familiar with which is why i didn't mention it but it's like there's a command on the toolbar somewhere that makes u select like the colors in the image and selects ur picture. but i dunno where that is and how to use it. if u know what imma talking about, use it.

it's called the feather tool.. jeesh.
SHEEREYESHADOW
i suggest you find a good tutorial to learn how to BLEND.....and FEATHER....
hahabiotch
if you don`t want the background to showup .. using photo shop you could use the extract tool .. that works well too other than feathering and the other stuff..

thanks..

They're all in one background because of masking. Masking blends 2 images seemingly together as if they're were one picture.

I'll give you direction on how to mask pictures when I get home. I'm at school right now. ^^;;
