hm... anybody read it? just wondering
i'm like halfway through, but it's really good!

If anybody's wondering, it's about..

well, I'll just take it off the back cover

"With only a yellowing photograph in hand, a young man- also named Jonathan Safran Foer- sets out to find the woman who may or may not have saved his grandfather from the Nazis. Accompanied by an old man haunted by memories of the war; an amorous dog named Sammy Davis, Junior, Junior; and the unforgettable Alex, a young Ukrainian translator who speaks in a sublimely butchered English, Jonathan is led on a quixotic journey over a devastated landscape and into an unexpected past."

It's nothing like I've ever read before. It has a really unusual format. It's actually pretty funny, yet sad... good read

And.. That doesn't really explain anything about what's special about the book.. Please explain, I'm actually in dire need of a book to read..

I'm only done with half of it, I don't know what to tell you without ruining it for you.
It's just brilliant. It makes you laugh, yet is so insightful, and the characters are really unforgettable. I dunno, it's the kind of book that you just can't put down. Just read it
