In some occasions chinese (and other asians: japanese, korean, thai, etc) ppl eat hot pot. The hot pot is like a chinese style of fondue, its called "Da Bin Oh" in cantonese but I cant quite spell it out. We don`t literally eat a hot pot but we cook food in it and just dig in, lol. We put in sea food, veggies, meat and all, so do you think you would like this "hot pot" or you guys who have tried it liked it? I sure do.

I hate it when food gets lost in it, and you can't find it. Especially with beef...because it tastes gross when it's really well done.

Anyway, yeah, that happens to me a lot too. I'm like, "Oh, crap, it's going to be all dry by the time I find it." So I keep fishing for it with the ladle till I find it.

I won't eat beef if it's still a bit pink. I'm really obsessive about that. My mom always says it won't taste good if I overcook it and that it won't kill me if it's still a little pink, but I don't care. I have to stick it back in the water till the pink becomes brown.

^That's what I think too, my mom eats it when it's half pink and tells me to do it too haha.

hot pot's fun when there's lots of people. my family is going over to a family friend's house for hot pot tomorrow night (or i guess technically tonight).
