has anyone ever tried it?? i really like it but it took me forever to try it because we don't have any filipino resturants in my burough(sp?) or even city. so i had to go to pensacola to get some(it's 3 hrs away) and even they had only 1 filipino resturant. but it was well worth the wait =).

i have it all the time ('cause i'm filipino). we have TONS of filipino restaurants over here, it's great. :)
my favorite kind is when it has vegetables and shrimp in it and you dip it in a special sauce (for me, it's soy sauce and vinegar with kalamanci).

I've only tried the frozen ones in the grocery store. They weren't very good. Like...bad Chinese spring rolls. I guess I'll have to try to find a filipino restaurant and have real loompia.

Oh yes, I've tried it and I normally have it at my cousin's or relative's parties! That's because I am Filipina. Yumm, lumpia is delicious. It's especially delicious with sweet and sour sauce. Yesuumm.

haha! no way! we don't drive solely to go to that resturant! We have to be in pensacola for my People to People meetings so while we're there we go to that resturant and get some lumpia. lol.

i noticed your comment was sent in "05", and i was wondering where it was you drove from? there was actually 2 resturants at that time,(C.D.'s & The Lumpia House) lol. but i think there is only one now,(Manila Garden) but if you were to go to an oriental store, they sometimes have some pre-made, and if you are interested i can tell you how to make them.

well being filipino of course i've had it before
and i know how to make it.
we usually have it once every 2-3 weeks or so.
and there's a lot whenever we have a party or holiday gathering at our house.
we make bout 500 or so everytime.
it takes forever but its worth the wait. its really good.

Lumpia is hella good, especially with sweet & sour sauce. Chick adobo pansit and sinigang, yeeeah
