A xanga blogger was murdered and the killer was caught because of the xanga entry the blogger wrote shortly before he was killed.

Wow, he's got the max. amount of comments. Who knew writing in a xanga could catch a criminal?? That is reeeaally cool, however sad. At least they found him.

you mean that case where tht brother and sister died cuz the siser's ex killed them. It was tragic, but Seon's(i think that's his name) last post really helped the police out. The guy later admitted that he waited for the girl after he killed the brother when he couldn't find money to rob them. Sucks died though

A few similar instances have happened with livejournal as well.

Sometimes it's a good thing, as in this case, other's its a bad case where the problem person is writing the entry and gets them into trouble.

I know livejournal has an unofficial thing where you add your first entry as contact and emergency information; you make it private (noone but you can see it) and you list the url in your profile stating it's your emergency contact, so in case you post something awful, a livejournal friend can report it, and something can be done.

There had been a case where a girl was making a phone post to her livejournal, and she had been attacked while making the post; So people who heard this mp3 on her journal, let livejournal know (amd she had this post) and they got ahold of someone to help the girl.

Damn who would've thought that that entry he posted would've been his last... R.I.P.

Wow that's pretty scary.. But that's good that the murder was solved. Haha when I saw the title, my first thought was "omg are we going to play a cool game? :D" Haha a mystery game of some sort, I thought.

Anyway... wow.. I can't believe he'd kill his ex girlfriend just to rob her. He should've gotten a job or something... What a jerk. It's scary at the same time because you never know when this might happen to us and yea.. :P Yay for xanga!
