I'm writing an article for a website on how to be an IT girl. An IT girl is someone who everyone talks about. She stands out in a crowd and people can't help but notice her. She is often the center of attention and controversial. She is admired by many but of course she has a few enemies too. In other words, people either love her or love to hate her, kind of like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. What I need from any of you is YOUR tips on how one can become an IT persona. What are some ways to stir up controversy, drama, attention?

Oh god, how to become an it girl. Well, definately try to split up friendships between the "lesser people". I would definately say that is one of them.
For example: Pretend to admire one of the "lesser friend" and tell her/him about how their friend is not worth their time and how they can do much better.

Is this something positive? An article about.... going against the "it" thing?
Or is it some kind of "it girl" promotion?

how to become an IT girl? social climb. that's the first thing that popped into my head. social climb. make sure no one knows about it. pretend you've known them for years. be friends with everyone.

Turning into an IT girl is a hard decision. Being the pessimist that I am, I believe that you're not going to get anything out of being the IT girl - because personally, there are the people who don't like you anymore because you've changed and there are the people that like you because you've changed - but it's not you. So personally, at that moment, you - in the inside - is not being liked that much.

As for tips, I believe that an IT girl should be friendly and not be choosy among people. If you want to be recognize, don't feel ashamed to introduce yourself and make friends with people who you know don't like you. You never know, you might be friends with them. Don't be shy and be confident but do not be overconfident. Also, DO NOT make yourself an IT girl because you have stolen everyone's boyfriend. For this occasion, try not to follow your heart or it'll get you in big trouble. Sometimes you need to follow your intellectual side rather than your emotional side.

Being yourself and thinking outside of the box. Not caing what people think about you. When I think of an it girl, I often think of a girl that has a unique style from everyone else. Her personality is funky and inviting. Girls want to be like her and guys want to be with her.

An IT girl to me, is one who everyone admires. Everyone wants to be like her, and with her. I think an IT girl would be smart, pretty, stylish, nice, kind, etc. Basically, a role-model, if you must.

umm .. be an overall good attitude person .. don't start crap with people .. don't be so stuck up ..

being good at sports .. being smart .. dress decent/nice .. have a good reputation ..

To stir up drama? They could like..um...well, if you mean BIG It girls, not just ones in schools, they could star in some fresh movies with controversial [sp?] or like.. make a CD??!

Well, i've been an "it" girl.. im not being concited! I promise.
Well you have to work for it. You cant be shy, and you cant be afraid to take risks.
Being funny is a must. But not obnoxious.

be yourself try not to be a fake person because no one will want to be botherd with you and some ppl will think of you as mediocore. Keep in mind an "it" girl isnt a bad title meaning an it girl isnt that girl whose know for sleeping with everyone. alot of ppl get that confused

an It girl has to flawless, has natural beauty, a great personality, nice tan, knows everything(parties, gossip, entertainment world, etc) and outgoing

How to be an IT girl.

a) don't show ppl that you're TRYING to change. just show them "the new you"
b) be VERY freindly
c)dress perfectly. Not a hair out of place, etc.
d) help ppl, wheather its with their hw, advice, or whatever elser you're good at.

Believe in yourself and don't let anyone walk all over you. You shouldn't try to be stuck up and bitchy to people. If you have self confidence, then people won't try to mess with you and like you because you believe in yourself.
