i need a good song, that altos can sing (lower voiced girls) a cappella (without music). this means i need a song where a girl doesn't sing TOO high, and where there's not a lot of pauses without words. i have auditions for cats tonight; that's why.

so far the best i have is "wet blanket" by metric.

i dont know how crazy you'll be about this, but

hanson has a lot of songs you can sing a cappella and since they're guys their songs don't go too high. not ALL of their songs are like "mmmbop." maybe download some songs off of their new album, Underneath. You might find something there.
