I heard from this computer guy that Firefox makes it easier for people to hack onto your compter. Like if you download it, it gives your c/p a "backdoor" like thing, making it easy for anyone to hack. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but do you think it is?

Hmm, i think i did hear this from somewhere. But I think its either, Updating or not updating that will give you the backdoor.

Toby it's true, for xanga that is. Even if the person disables right click on their xanga, using firefox can get the sources.

I think she means making it easier for people to hack your computer. Meaning, leaving a vulnerability somehow.

i've never heard that before, but i don't think its true.
firefox goes much faster and you don't download crap onto the computer with it.

Yes no Active X.
By the way Firefox is the best browser. BUT there is going to be a new Internet Explorer or something I dunno if it's safer than Firefox but I heard it's going to fully support CSS (2? or 3?) whichever one they are working on now.
