I'm not buying the new one.. I just didn't really feel into it.

actually, it's called "mezmerize". Yes, oh, and Radio/Video is my favorite song on there too. At first I thought it was really wierd, but it's pretty damn cool. And, it's not as good as Toxicity.

Anyways yeah I like their new album than their old album. WAY BETTER. Their new song is awesome too. even though I didn't download their songs, I give them 2thumbs up for their new album!

one of their best, steal this album was probley the worst, the best was their frist, i have to say this one is one of the tops

Hm, yes, there are a lot of metaphorical phrases in there. I would definately say it's the best of their new album. Most meaning. Soldier Side is good too.

Ok, I went and bought this CD the day it was released. It's not the best album they've ever done, but it's pretty f*n good. You just gotta have an open mind and not be bothered by Daron's vocals (whiny and not so good). My fave songs off of this album are "Violent Pornography" and "Silent Statue". The whole thing is decent though.

You have to keep in mind that "Mezmerize" is only the first disc of a two disc set. In my opinion, "Mezmerize" is probably going to be the slower disc of the two. I think that "Hypnotize" will be the faster, harder, more Serj-heavy CD of the set. Or at least I hope so. I can't take another disc of Daron singing....

No album that SOAD puts out will ever touch "Toxicity". "Toxicity" was genre-defining album, a classic of it's time. It's true. There will never be another album by SOAD that can touch "Toxicity" in terms on impact and sheer brilliance.

For those that don't know, "Mezmerize" is SOAD's 4th album. "System of a Down" was their first album, "Toxicity" their second, "Steal This Album" their third, and "Mezmerize" their fourth. "Hypnotize" will be their fifth release, which is set for a September/October release or so I've heard.

Ditto. I love that song. I like they're new album, but the CD surprised me. It was different from their older songs.

It's alright. I like Toxicity much much better. Some of the songs made me laugh so hard..Like #4 on the album and Violent Pornography. Haha.

i found that i'm more into their older records. i do own mesmerize though, i expected it to be much better, but its alright...my favorite song in this record would be cigaro or radio/video.
