im trying out for cheerleading and cougarettes _which is like a dance team or whatever; we do the half time shows pep rallies etc._

good luck! i'll be in rotc next year, but i don't know much about it. a friend of mine is 1st sgt and the best in the school, and she encouraged me to take the class.

i'm hoping that soon i'll graduate from my current class in kf so i can do off campus.

yea, good luck. i remember when i tryed out for this all guy's school (since i go to an all girls's school, we could cheer for the boys..yay!) and i was nervous, but here's some words of encouragement and some tips i'v notcied when i was cheering:
1.BE LOUD!! after all, u are gonna be cheering
2. make your moves SHARP. don't be sloppy
3. SMILE
4. look like you're having fun
5. be real and connect with the coaches (or whoever interviews you, or evauates you)
6. don't make it show that u're nervous, so be out going.

Good luck! Cheerleading and dance tryouts are coming up soon for our school too.. but I'm not trying out for either. I'm more concerned on making the tennis team. And Frankie's giving me lessons! =P

ahh today was just practice so we could learn the routines and cheers...lols...i was so nervous and it took me a long time to catch on to the cheers...lols...thanks for wishing me luck! lols...i think i need sooo much more tomorrow....aCk~!!

If there's an allstar gym anywhere nearby your house, I encourage you to hit that up (if you haven't already) so you can avoid most of the garbage associated with the sport.
