has anyone been getting that new aim virus that's been going around? my friends have constantly been sending me links that say "check out my pics" or "this was cool. check it out." or something like that. i was smart enough to not click on them, but my friends weren't so lucky, and they need help.

one of my friends has been constantly scanning her computer with norton antivirus and ad-aware se personal. another friend tried reinstalling aim, but the virus was still there.

anyone know how to get rid of it?

Yah I got that. Well, I didn't run it or save it, but Norton said I had another virus after that, so I cleared my cookies, and scanned, and it said I didn't have the viruses.

I clicked it, But i didn't get a virus. Probably because i use Gaim. I dont get kicked out of Chatrooms either and stuff.

Well after i clicked it, it took me to a site. And it was a werid site, for like letter documentation and stupid shit like that. So then on the page where the virus is, i downloaded the thing that pops up. That wasn't a virus either. Its a program that runs in the backround, and just takes up RAM.
