I get those dumb "Get a Free Ipod" ads all the time. What I'm wondering is, are they for real??? At first I thought, of COURSE not...but then I saw a video clip of the news on someone's xanga...saying that they really did give out free Ipods in exchange for personal info. Has anyone ever filled out those pop-ups and did anything happen?

Not the pop-up ones. They're fake. But if you go to the freeipods site, and you fill everything out, pick an offer, get some referrals, yup, you'll get a free iPod! =)

i never tried and i guarantee you i never will cause i just hate popups and i never trust any unless i know for sure it's from a safe site.
