Yep, get to know her. =] And then if you feel that "connection/click" then ask her out. 
get to know her the best you can, aite? if you're shy, do it gradually. i'm rather shy and it took me a while but i became really close friends with my crush, but we were friends before i liked him anyway, so that could be why. then after that, slowly start to flirt with her....and etc, the rest has all be stated. :)
