What that person said.
House of Wax is just a stupid little flick about foolish kids who get trapped in the clutches of evil. Boring plot, horrible actors.
It cannot COMPARE to The Amityville Horror.

It isn't exactly true. People weren't posessed or anything.. It's just like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.. A few elements were added to make it a true blockbuster.

It was soooo cool! I loved it.. The movie is definitely way better, you'll love it. Not one boring part in the movie, and the part when the kid is in the bathroom.. That's when everyone most got scared.. or when the couple is having sex.. OMG Pansies would piss their pants.

those were two of the horror movies that i wanted to watch. 'house of wax' is more of a teen flick though, sorta similar looking to 'i know what you did last summer', etc. is 'amytiville horror' worth it?

I chose the amityville horror looks much better and the plot of house of wax has just be used so many times, its going to be like another 1000 flims.

I know "The Amityville Horror" is true, but... I thought "House of Wax" was way better. Even though "The Amityville Horror" is based on true story, but I don't believe it.

House of Wax's plot was actually pretty original, too bad it's a remake though. The only part of the plot that wasn't original is the teenagers getting stranded and stuff.
