I just needed a girls opinion on something. There's going to be this little formal dance in a week and i'm deciding if i should go.

I'm not much of a dancing kind of guy, and i look plain out stupid doing it. It sounds like fun, but at the same time i just can picture myself sitting and doing nothing.

Should i get a date and still go

or not and go solo and look stupid

or just not go at all

Well depends? Is there a certain someone you have in mind? Maybe this will be your big chance to start something, unless you already has a significent other, or not. I really don't know, but who cares if you can't dance? Just go and have fun, like what everybody else tells me to do.

ya like ^ said, if u have someone in mind go for it..But even if u dont have anyone to go with, go to the dance..

sometimes it doesnt matter if you can dance or not...just go with that special someone....if she wants to dance....try out the slow dance...its not hard

or is it like prom with the like ball room dancing and stuff? caus eI ahve no idea how to do that either but I'd probalby be better at that...I'm really good with rythem an stuff, but I jsut cna't make up my own moves, I scare even myself. but with any kind of dance that has rules I rock.

anyway, depite what I aperently beleive, this topic is not all about me, so here's my advice for you:

Just go to the stupid dance, no one cares what oyu dance like except yourself. I'm sure you'll have aufn tiem anyway.

Go with someone if you have someone in mind. Just... tell her your not a great dancer and make her laugh.

I didn't think I was a good dancer either.. But eh.. It figures I dance pretty well according to my friends.

Go with her! This is possibly your only chance and she will probably help you to dance. I think that'd be cute. Anyways, take dance classes over the summer to improve too. Or ask a friend to help. Always good for a first try. Once you do it, you'll want to do it again.

You could always go without dancing. Or something.
But if it sounds like fun and you have someone in mind, then learn to dance and then go :)

it would be fun if you take a date but it can still be equally fun if not, then you can dance with all the cute single girls there too.
or go with a bunch of your friends and hang out. and don't worry about dancing, no one can really dance, so i doubt you'd stand out.

liek i can't dance either...but if i went to a dance it is only b/c for food and soicalizing...so you can just hang around your friends
