Some chinese eat Jelly fish as an appetizer. My friends gross out when they hear it. Do you think its weird and gross? I dont. =]

But I understand why ur frds probably think its gross although its not completely the most gross thing that ppls eat...............

I eat weird food.....and ppls sometimes are like "eww..." But who cares, its our culture.........

Although I eat weird food, I think its gross to eat that french mean, escargot?? The snails.................I see them in my backyard and I'm like "ick......................."

Mm. I'm not Chinese, I'm Vietnamese, but I love Chinese food. Jellyfish is good, same thing happens with my friends, I don't care what they think, they're just missing out on great food because they are too freaked out to try new things.

OMG!! i love the jelly fish, liek kinda liek nodles but stuff right. and you usually have it with these meat crap and octupus. dang that is the best stuff ever!!!

i also liek to put the hot sauce you get a taco bell on salad with lettuce only. mmm so good

jelley fish is not weird b/c i'm also chinese and i eat it all the time itz good!!
but i ate something weirder when i visited china one year i ate snake (it looked like eggs)i didn't noe until after i ate it. >.<

I've never really tried jellyfish. but im sure its pretty good. I love chinese cuisine.

But filipino food can be wierd too. Theres this dish that people call 'chocholate meat'... It's like.. pork blood soup. It's really good and all. but my friends think otherwise. haha

Exactly. I'm Vietnamese too and I love Chinese food no matter how weird it is. It tastes really good and those who are too scared to give it a chance don't know what they're missing.

i went to this chinese resteraunt that served jelly fish before and i thought it was yummy.. it was sort of spicy-ish xD i don't think its weird..i know some dude who eats monkey brains and i know a lot of chinese families who eat poor doggies =( so..jelly fish isn't all that weird =]

I don't think jellyfish is weird. It sounds quite appetizing really. It's not really that weird at all... I mean, if I can eat japanese fermented soybeans... then jellyfish can't be all that bad

no.. certain ppl eat certain things that the otehr dont usuall eat.. soo i dont think its weird for ppl to eat everything.. afterall we humans are naturally omnivores... we just choose our own paths.. ;)

I don't fnd it werid, I find it interesting, I'm not sure if it's something I would actually want to eat though.. depends! I don't think I would eat it, only because of the fact that I get stung by them at the beach.

hmm i eat lots o different (weird) things like. cow blood, snake soup, ect.
some chinese eat dogs. but i have a dog. so i dont think i'll ever try it.

Jellyfish isn't that weird...naengchae, anyone? I especially love it in Shanghai cuisine, served cold. Or in Cantonese cooking, also served cold and mildly spicy with duck webs.

There's tons more weird stuff that I eat, which includes a large number of strange animal innards like pork kidney, chicken heart, cooked goose blood, duck tongue, etc. Which are all delicious, by the way. =p

noo im korean .. and we have jellyfish dishes too ...my dad LOVES ittt ..and i am allergic.. along w/ raw oysters. :p

i'm not chinese but i'm filipina so i see no weridness in that
