Forums > Community Center > Debate

After the excalating violence taking place in Palestinian communities under Israeli controls, it is convinced that the violence will continue unabated destroying life, property, and all hope of peace in the region.

Should the Palestinians be granted a separate state?

I say, Yes. They should be given a separate state.

I agree with you. It's there land and their home. It's not up to everyone else to come to "world peace."

I am giving you a choice, which means I'm being generous.

The rules say you can't cross post a topic in different forums. Now, I noticed that you posted one of this kind in the homework section, and of course, that means I'm going to close either this one or the one in the homework section down.

There's your choice. Which do you want to remain opened?

I suppose, if you don't talk about the debate in the homework section, I won't have to close either one down.

Anyway,

It depends. Will the violence stop if they do? rolleyes.gif

close the homework section.

Maybe we shouldn't speak so quickly on the matter.

This war between them will go on forever. We truly don't know how these people feel. I cannot give an answer.

palistinianes should not be given thier own country. they are not a different ethnicity. it'd be like saying everyone who lives in new york city is different and they should be a new country.

the palistinian people are an artificial group created for politics.

yes i've been reading FLAME ads.

i don't think it's really any of our business. we've had control of countries before, and it was our decision whether to give them independence or not, and in this case, it's israel's decision.

I don't see the point of adding another Arab state, unless of course, it ends the violence. However, that's unlikely. The Arab-Palestinians get their borders defined, then what? They'll hold hands with Israelis?

And then how will Israel feels? Safe? Secure?

sadolakced acid, your post made no sense. If you say that they're not a different ethnicity from the Isrealis (which they are) and that they are an atificial group created for politics, then isn't that saying that the Isrealis are also an artificial group created for politics?

I don't think there should be a new Palestinian state. I think they should try and find peace (yes, idealistic and not very likely, but we can hope, can't we?) Jews and Muslims, for this isn't about Isreal and Palestine, it's about the religions, aren't so different.

Actually Palastine had been adopted by Arabs living in the area west of the Jordan Rver. It is specifically employed to avoid the use of the name Israel. Palastine IS considererd a propaganda term with massive anti-Israel implications.

Aha yes i agree, it is all over religion....they are fighting a "Holy war" and they aren't fighting over just any piece of land, it's the so called "Holy-land" mentioned in the Old Testament. So for that fact neither side will ever give in if they believe it is their destined fate to vie for control of that land. This is how religion (or at least how it is interpreted) has ruthlessly encouraged these people to keep fighting.

Well, the Holy Land was mentioned is mentioned in both the Qu'ran and the Old Testament, so even thought it's wrong for them to fight over land, they do have "valid claims" to the land.

If you want to find out about this kind of subject as well as many others with 'Conspiracy' overtones...check this site out:

Above Top Secret: Conspiracy Site

I have been posting on that Forum for some time...it has taught me a whole lot about just this kind of question.

Some of the best education to be found...although a little paranoid at times.

...why are you looking at me like that?...did you hear that noise too?....guys I think the Internet is...bugged....

Enjoy
