I dislike chinese music. Don't get me wrong or anything, I'm not racist, because I am chinese. but I enjoy hearing this one chinese song my mom and I would sing when I was a little kid. I don't know who it is by, though.

^ It's probably The Moon Represents My Heart by Teressa Teng. It was the number one song of the millenium in China. There's a remake of it from David Tao.

F.I.R., S.H.E. are the only artists I prefer. I'm not a biggie when it comes to cPop but I really respect it.


Chinese rappper? Mandarin rap is a joke and it makes Cantonese rap sound better when it sounds funny.

Cantonese Rap > Mandarin Rap

mandarin rap sounds funny. i mean to americans, mandarin practically sounds like singing. its hard to transform that to rap. something like shanghainese would be easier to rap.

i dont listen to that much chinese music.... i mean i like one of Kaila's songs, but i dont think she really counts just because shes chinese. because she sings in english

i dont like chinese music. its kinda poser-ish (aka american-wannabes). im not racist considering im chinese.

Some mandarin rapper like Jay Chow, Linda, Renee Chen can rap so well.. Esp. Linda and Renee Chen. Linda grew up in Canada (i think) and Renee Chen grew up in New York. Their singing abilities were shocking... They are highly recomanded!! ^^

you should see mandarin girls who try to rap. it's annoying. (i.e. - s.h.e. - only lonely)

The only chinese music I listen to is the Chinese versions of 'My Name' and 'My Prayer' from BoA. Personally, I like the Chinese versions over the Korean ones... They seem more... word-y. XD

They didn't spell it wrong, it's just his last name romanized in a different language. I mean, Jay's last name in Mandarin really should be "Zhou" instead of "Chou, and in Cantonese it's "Chow". It depends on what language you want to name him by...
