omg i broke my hair straightener and i don't have enough money to buy a new one whats a goood way of straightening it without blow dryin too much because that gets my hair even puffier .. stubborn.gif
starlette
u can buy a good ceramic one from target for 20 bucks. Thats not that expensive. If you dont have 20 dollars, try blow drying it as stright as possible, and then take a curling iron to it. it will take a helluva lot longer, but it will do just about the same thing. And ask ur parent for a new strightener. And take better care of it this time.

i dunno..borrow a friends sraightner...there is not much yuo can do
aera
target sells pretty good ones for 20... if your bdays near or something, you can ask for it.
angelrevelation
i dunno, try the curling iron idea ^ or after you get out of the shower, comb it straight? it might help a little. but do you honestly need to straighten your hair that badly? huh.gif

I know what you mean, blowdryer dosn't work for me either, ti's a certain type of hair where a blow dryer jsut maeks it worse.

I find that when I don't want to straighten my hair I just tie it in a tight bun when it dries than when I let it down I DO NOT brush it (never brush it) jsut run your finger thorugh it, and I find it dries out not too puffy and with cute crinks in it. ofcourse if I jsut let it out it'll get puffy after about a half an hour of walkign around so I stick it up in a pony tail, bun, pig tails, or braid.

I strightened my hair to day, but tha'ts ocne in a blue moon really, I usually jsut put it in braids.

and ya, there are some cheap ceramic straighteners from the drug store, but they suck anyway so I wouldn't recomend buying one. but w/e you wanna do is fine. _smile.gif

good luck with yer hair flowers.gif

EDIT

what the heck I'll post pics of my hair.

Dried out:

dried in bun JUST taken out...so it's still nice:

yup yup, see the difference ----^ never dry your hair out, and for me blowdryer doens't do a thing, jsut puffs it up.

?? If you're not going to help her out, don't respond at all. She is just asking for help. Not doing anything to you, is she?

Anyways, I suggest borrow one, or why not just let it natural. I bet it looks fine!
iheartsimba
I really... don't know of any other way that would give the same effect. Do you have a curling iron? That can work as a striaghtener. How ironic.
yukichan
hmm..some types of shampoos make ur hair straighter...or u can just brush it while its wet and then but it up in a ponytail(sp?)..that works for me..
xoxvietbabyy
I really wouldn't know, I use my Mom's straightner which cost about 150 dollars so she'd kill me if I broke it.

chaneun
Buy "Super skinny" stuff, it'll make your hair straight as this line____
iwannakisshim
I'd say, don't worry about it! So what if your hair isn't completely straight? I highly doubt anyone will really care. And if they do, they're too superficial. And they should just forget about it. happy.gif
No1_2_NoBody13
ok i dont wanna sound werid or anyting but use an iron...if your hair is long then it will work great...just make sure you put a oven mit on the other hand and use that to press the hair up againest iron....worked great for me after mine broke blink.gif

...do you have to straighten your hair?
Xprezsion

enyceXaddiction
isnt a hair straightener like $10?
michelle_07
how do you break a straightener?
__xxfrappachino<3
iron it with a clothes iron on a low heat setting =)
be careful though!
WickedDreamer
Okay, depending on your length of hair you could put in a bun without a scrunchie and pin it with either butterfly clips or a hair stick. Otherwise, just pull it back, or get a cheap one untill you can get a better one. It might take a little longer but your hair is still straight.
MeLoNiSyUmMy
ive got a chi (SP??) which is about 200 and i love it. AH. its good. there isnt much you can do if you broke yours unless you borrow someones, buy a new, or just keeping it curly. its probably pretty when its curly. put some mousse on it and WABAM. you're done. or you could use a curling iron as a straightener. ive never tried that though.
missknowitall1414
try that iron idea that someone already suggested happy.gif . or a curling iron..but that takes a looong time.
xldubaliciousx
Put your hair up. Or if it's naturally curly.. Go with that.
