um question? wats da difference from board shorts and swim trunks..can u still swim and board shorts?

i think board shorts are made for surfing and thiings like that but, you can swim in them too

swim trunks are just for swimming

maybe the material is just different? board shorts might just be like regular cotton or w.e., and swim trunks... that mesh and polyester thing. i dunno

They seem basically the same..but board shorts are more specifically for surfing or something.

u peeps are dummies ^_^ board shorts have no netting, u wear boxers instead (like me), and normal swmming ones have anetting (I HATE THEM) but i wont go in to detail why most peaps wear board shorts...

board shorts r the 1s u use for wakeboarding, surfing, having fun beside the beach etc... and for swimming (I MEAN REAL SWIM TRAINING AND STUFF) u wear real tight 1s....

Swim trunks usually have a net-type kind of underwear in them so the manly stuff doesn't hang out while taking a swim.

I think board shorts are looser, and swimming trunks are more tighter.

plus girls will wear board shorts over their swimbottoms if they feel to.. risque..

girls don't talk about wearing swim trunk sover their swimbottoms often.. lol

actually the deff there is what i always thought. and yes girl have boardshorts too.. i know i do theyre awesome... but i dont wear them by thereselfs, always over my bathingsuit bottoms, i use them for wakeboarding.
