whats really annoying is these non-hispanic kids who rap along to a reggaeton song on the radio , and it sounds nothing like the real song. they got every word completely wrong and they have no idea what anything means.

i dont really listen to it,but i don't hate it. i just hate when people that arent hispanic or dont know spanish try to act cool becuase they listen to it even though they dont know the meaning of a single word in the song. if you're going to listen to a certain type of music, shouldnt you know what they're saying. not just pretend to,becuase its the cool thing to do?

How can you not like Reggaeton? I liked it for 3 years now.. and it's really good.. well, at least some songs.. My favorite is Nicky Jam, Zion y Lennox and Wisin y Yandel... Daddy Yankee and Pitbull nowadays shouldn't count as reggaeton.. It's so dumb that everyone knows about it. It is for this same reason that I didn't want it to get out.. because people will "like it" and others will "bash them for liking it" but Really they don't like it... Just like when rap got out in the early nineties.. alot of people were fake and said they liked it but really didn't.. It's hard to explain..

I agree with Frankie.. I don't want to say it's garbage since Emily, for example, likes it, but I just don't really like it. It's just not the type of music I listen to or am into.

Hahah, right because people if someone doesn't like a particular style of music, it means they just don't understand it. Get real, if a person doesn't like it, get over it. I too, love both reggaeton and reggae. In my opinion, the beats are hot and so are the lyrics. But I agree that sometimes it sounds the same.

Not all "rock" has vocals that are screamed.
That particular genre is usually called "hardcore" or "screamo." (though there are various other subgenres, but those are two simple ones.)

I love reggaeton. I have 153 songs on my playlist and 49 of them are reggaeton.. Many don't like reggaeton because they've only heard gasolina and dale don dale.. which are garbage, no doubt about it. But they weren't.. They came out like.. what? 2 Years Ago? lol that's a load of crap.. Just like a bunch of songs that get popular after a while.. It's annoying.. let me stop ranting.
