okay in the entertainment forum i think there are too many topics like
"can anyone send me this song called ________"
or
"i heard this song but i dont know the lyrics.. it went like this... who can help me"
i think we should make a sticky and call it like the song request help thread or something.. and people can post and fulfill song requests in there..

nice idea but can't song requests go into xanga request..? but yea good idea 
Well. I don't know. Seeing as there are tons of song requests in Xanga Help, some mods have talked about his issue. And if they ask something like you said, where they know a few lyrics and want the song, I guess it's ok. But some people would take advantage of it and ask for the audio's of songs they already know the name of so they don't have to find it/upload it.

anyways, I think no because then more people would be lazy and try not even look and just post in that topic. We should maybe make a pinned topic saying to look through lyrics site.. And give a list of'em that are good and full of great songs. Or google it! Google works with lyrics. *nod*

That's a bad and good idea somehow.
Bad - Like Spiritedfreak said, people are going to be lazy and depend on cB to help them. Come on, do some work and actually try to find the song before asking us.
Good - Yeah, the mods could make it.. but.. they would have to make it where the posts won't count in that forum because people can spam in there and ask about a song even if they know it already, ya know what I mean?

It's not really our job to find songs, if someone wants a song, they should go to a music site and request it.

not really true... the people in the soompi forums/z-degrees forums have done a lot of searching before requesting songs and when my friends ask for songs, they've done searching too. i find the song requests idea a good idea.
yes... we do need a music requestion forum, but we'd also have to watch our step. there's always that certain percentage of people who would/will/already are abusing the system.
i'd say we make some restrictions, like the xanga request forum. 50 posts, etc.

I guess it could be a good idea.. if it's not, I guess you can take personal requests. but I'm afraid that people will abuse this and be lazy to because downloading music takes time, of course.. and having that you could get it right away.. without searching or anything.

i think a song url and song name's thread would be a good idea. start it off with links to like 239472347 music and lyric sites put some rules down about abusing it and being lazy and let people request away..that way there are no annoying threads in xanga help or entertainment..and if there are just leave a link to the new sticky and be done with it! muaha!
