YourSuperior
Did you first align it in one then align it in another? If you didn't then you might wannt try doin that. It might work. It worker for me.
freeflow

its actually aligned for some of my friends but not for you alvin and my computer doesnt show it aligned well

Here's something that might help.. it validates whether your html is correct and might help you position it.
http://validator.w3.org/

When positioning a layout make sure you position both image AND div.

hmm that will take a while but i will try thanks cool.gif

one question when i validate my css (not w/ that link but another one on the same site)
do you know with this means:
QUOTE
Parse error - Unrecognized : <style type="text/css"> body { scrollbar-face-color:B6893A; scrollbar-shadow-color:B6893A; scrollbar-3dlight-color:B6893A; scrollbar-arrow-color:F28E86; scrollbar-base-color:B6893A; scrollbar-track-color:B6893A; scrollbar-darkshadow-color:B6893A; scrollbar-highlight-color:B6893A; scrollbar-shadow-color:B6893A; color:2D4E72; font-size:12pt; font-family:arial; background-color:B6893A; background-image: url(http://img48.echo.cx/img48/9179/background1or.png); background-attachment : fixed; background-repeat:repeat-y; line-height: 15px; letter-spacing: 1px; text-align:justify; }

thats the only error i have in my css and i wanna fix that first

^ That may be a problem the reason </style> wasn't in there, or maybe toya just didnt copy that part in there.
freeflow
no theres a style that the part that the validator doesnt recongnize

this is the whole code
sdfzxcde
yeah, I think it recgonized that it stoppped after the { since it usually ends the code there. Blah, I'm kinda confsing myself. mellow.gif

Can you try to continue and skip that step? I think I see that everthing is alright.. or end a </style> after each of those brackets.
mona lisa
I think you should skip it because scrollbar colors only work in IE. It sure doesn't work in Firefox, so if it's not validated (only for scrollbar), I think it's ok.

I hate to say this, it sounds like spam... But if it's an actual site, you don't code in IE first. That's... Bad, 'cause IE allows to much... Bad stuff in your coding, so it doesn't look right. Code in something like Safari or Firefox first, then make minor adjustments to make it look OK in most browsers.
----
Oh, and it doesn't validate 'cause it's background-color, isn't it?
edit//Nevermind. But I think it might be 'cause you forgot the # signs on that one part... That's what it looks like to me.
freeflow
ya i added the "#`s"

explicit.lovely-headline.org
soo i just re align it in firefox and it should come out in other browers? cuz now people are sayin it works for me and others arelike its humgously off
soo yea ill just skip that validating part for now
