two questions. how do i make a background like stripes except thin like the candy striped myspace layout roxanne made?
and how do I make the background blured kinda and in the background is light striped except the picture part you'd want to see.. i got photoshop though... j/w how to do it..

for the stripes she probably used something like this:

If you're using photoshop, just draw lines with the line tool, and make them the color you want.

shortvi3tlaydee --- she gived you the tutorial for the second question you're asking if you didn't know that.
the first question you asked. you use the line tool. But if you want to make it thicker. Press right click or Hold whatever program you're using to go to rectangular tool. It's lot easier to use that instead. So yeah good luck with it! Just to let you know, your first question is very easy. And the images. Try using like 80x80px image size. instead of those big size. you don't need a big image like 500x500px to make those striped backgrounds ;]

If you wanted to have stripes on everything but a specific portion, you'd put that portion on a diffrent layer... And to make it slightly blurred, you'd run Smart Blur, or Gaussian Blur... But with a very low radius.
