What I really hate to see are those 'anime wannabe shows' Show like like teen titans, Witch, and the Winx Club<<<<< the Winx is what i hate the most. They make me puke!!!!!!

yeah thats like the only positive thing i like about teen titans, ONLY BECAUSE I LIKE AMI and YUMI's SINGING. But i heard puffyamiyumi the show, was made in japan, is it really made in japan?? But it looks all cartoonish.....very unlikely.......

oh nonono, that's about worst animes, this ones about imitations. theyre really not anime at all. Created by non-japanese people. Like Totally Spies,Teen Titans,etc..

Yea, there are imitation anime, but some of those are worth to watch.

The only good "anime-wannabe" is Avatar. But all the other ones suck. Puffy Amiyumi is so bad it makes me want to throw up. They try to add Japanese words like when Caz says something they're all, "HAI! HAI! HAI!" I'm like, this is insulting
Totally Spies is just a plain stupid show. I mean, how do they manage to have the exact gadgets they're gunna need. It's so predictable. It's just like a teen version of the Power Puff Girls (which should also burn in hell). The animation in TS is okay though.
Teen Titans tries to hard to be anime. They have all those little moments where they try to imitate Japanese "surprised looks" and shrinking and stuff like that. And the jokes are really lame.
My Life As a Teenage Robot is HORRIBLE. They had that one episode in Japanese because they tried to convince people itw as a Japanese show, but it's so bad. They try to do anime, but it sucks horribly. I think Japanese people should do anime and American people should do their own styles. There's really no successful anime wannabe.

Personally, I don't think My Life As A Teenage Robot is ann imitation anime ... the animation is similiar to that off Chalk Zone and Fairy Oddparents, in my opinion at least.

Mew Mew Power, Winx Club all remind me of Sailor Moon. I watch them both sometimes. Very interesting. Winx Club is the one I don't like much, 'cause it's just some American 'anime'.

oh, MewMew Power is really anime but its really called TOKYO MEW MEW!!! (But i like the manga than the anime) I HATE IT when FOX changes like the whole entire show!!! They changed her name from ICHIGO to ZOEY, CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!FOX KIDS HAS NO RIGHT TO CHANGE THE TITLE NAME!!!!! They shouldnt have the right to translate animes either!!!! EVEN SHAMEN KING!!! I actually enjoy watching Mew Mew Power. And yes, it does also remind me of Sailor Moon(I used to watch that show all the time.) And for Winx, I dislike them very strongly, they disturb me, and if I could tell them one thing it would be to get of their starvation diet, and put on some "real" clothes.

I think the Winx club is the worst in my opinion. I mean, I saw one of the girls-- (witch are all super deformed)-- have six fingers. The person whoever created this, probably hasn't learn the parts of the body yet. It's just DISCRASEFUL.
I do watch tokyo mew mew, but in the japanese version. Its soooo much better when its uncut.

you guys need to shut up. since anime is on the rise of popularity due to shows like pokemon, digimon, and especially cartoon network's toonami line up. the natural progression of domestic animation is to employ the use of anime-style and conventions simply bc its a trend right now and will draw more audiences. keep in mind its just a whole marketing scheme so dont cry over spilled milk.

anyway those type of shows you mentioned are aimed at a specific niche market, KIDS. so dont go dissing on it bc it doesnt fit your "needs". and if you really like the shows, then just watch it. if you dont like, it change the channel. dont bitch on the forums.

Yeah, Puffy AmiYumi can get on my nerves sometimes, but you listed Teen Titans, and although that's considered 'fake' anime, it's a really great show.

Sometimes people just need to let off a little steam and we have the freedom to complain. Anime is not a marketing source, it's a culture and when people try to rip it off, it's almost offensive. When you watch it, it just makes you want to throw up (especially if you're a really big fan of anime). Try watching an episode of Wolf's Rain and then watching an episode of Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi.
If they think that imitating anime is going to help them, appearantly it's not doing any good.

The anime haave storys, have trama and yeah have a little sex in there but is not like the United States Cartoon (AMERICA is the Name of the Whole Continent) the imitations are an insult someone says fox change names or thi0ngs like thats but the truth is the U.S.A TV channels or studios change everything! in all animes They says are Pervert and disgustings but is just words in the wind 'Cause the anime is better always it's just that Oh! Aug I HATE Winx Club. I really don't like any shows with really skinny pretty girls fighting girly crime. Imitation anime shouldn't count as anime, just cartoons. Really STUPID cartoons. I kind of like teen titans cause of the plot and Beast Boy.

Winx and anything of that sort isn't even to be considered anime. It's a children's show, much like... Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go! (I hope I got that right.) It isn't Asian, at all. Anime itself is an imitation of American style cartoons. Anime evolved from manga, which was based off of Western style comics pre-WWII.

So if anything, Anime is just a copy of some of these old American comic franchises!
