Just To Die

Fallen and broken…
Alone on the floor,
Wondering if there is life
That’s worth fighting for.
Some things can’t be helped,
That’s just a part of life…
Wondering what is there that is still worth living…
And conjuring things that have yet to be…
f**ked up
Confused
And not coherent
You begin to think you’re all alone
So you begin to cut yourself.
You cut for every pain
You cut for every thought…
And soon, you cut just because you cut…
Not so sure of yourself,
And not so sure of others…
You begin to pop pills…
Pop for anger,
Pop for defiance, and pop just for the sake of popping pills…
It’s pathetic on how low people sink just to get a cheap thrill or to ease pain…
It’s sad to think you’re the only one…
It’s so selfish to want to die,
After people give and give so you have a chance at life…
It’s just a cycle…
Cut, pop, cut, pop…
It never ends.
So stupid to think like that and yet,
Nobody can stop you from doing it
So go ahead and kill yourself
Slowly
Painfully
And shamefully…
All done
Just to die…

Life and Death

Moldy hands and fingertips
Turning black with coagulated blood.
Empty eyes and pasty skin
Smelling of rot and contagious plague.

Death is not a pretty thing
So, they pick up ways to cope.
How many people have to suffer
From something beyond their control.

Cheery, youthful, sprightly beauty
Dancing circles around life itself.
So naive are many people
As they hide from truth, behind religion.

Life can be quite demanding
So they pick up ways to cope.
Live your life to the fullest
Before your time is near.
