im going to the movies with my girlfriend tomorrow and we are going to go see Ammityville horror, which i heard was real scary, and i was wondering something.
when she gets scared or when a scary scene comes up, should i put my arm around her and hold her? i know that i should everynow and then, but im not totally sure when i should and how often and all that stuff. any suggestions?

...I dont know any girl that wouldn't like that...especially in a scary situation. Women like men that are there for them a lot...go for it man and have fun!

Do whatever you feel like you want to do...if you want to put your arm around her...go for it......the worst thing that can happen is that she gives you an odd look...

She's your girlfriend, you should put your arm around her to comfort her. If I were to watch a scary movie with my boyfriend, I would kinda expect him to do that to me.

If the movie is scary and she gets scared....yes..you can put your arm around her...if you want to...I guess you can hold her too....since you two are dating...I doubt she will give you an kind of look...Don't stress too much...be natural about it....I don't think she'd want an arm that's tense around her....

when i was there, there was this couple in front of me and she put her head on his shoulder. it was cute. oh, btw, there's a lot of scary parts so you could hold her the entire movie.

LOL. Okay, you should hold her during the "right moments." You'll know when they come. Sometimes being held TOO much is a bit annoying though heh. :x make sure you find the good moments though ;)

If u really wanna b the mature kewl b/f then u can tell her b4 u go in that if she feels a bit scared and wants 2 hold ur hand or put her head in2 ur shoulder shes welcum 2. That way ur inviting her 2 express herself which takes away ur uncertainty regarding whether 2 creep ur arm up onto her shoulder, which is kinda lame and after a while ur arm goes dead lololol.

i guess it depends how scary the parts are. at the moderately scary parts, just squeeze her hand, and at the horrifying parts hug her i guess. but then again maybe she doesnt get scared easily. look out for her reactions, and act upon them

ppl shouldn't be worrying so much about these like little details.. i think she kinda expected that u will put ur arms around her if she knows u guys' watching a scary movie.. i mean.. gals dun just sit at the side and watch scary movies themself. lol.
