What do u guys think of the whole idea of leggings with a short skirt? leggings are those really tight pants that girls, mostly, used to wear with really long shirts. u kno like in Full house? yeah. so what do u think of them?

Alot of girls use them at my school so that way their skirts don't look so short because Admins get onto them about..

I guess they look alright if you can dress it up and make it look right.

I personally don't like leggings...I dunno, I just think it looks a little weird the way they cut off at the ankle...

If they went down over your feet like stockings, I think they would look better.


But I think they wouldn't look too good with short skirts.

i think they look really nice and cute.. i wore a short skirt with really tight pants like jogging pants only tighter under my skirt with vans (the sheo brand) to my conference i thought it was didfrent and looked real cute

Some girls had it trying to be 'retro' or whatever at a show i went to last friday.
I wanted to shoot them.

Bump. I was about to make a thread about leggings but I searched and this came up.

Anyway, it's starting to become a trend again. Now girls at school wear them with miniskirts, and honestly, it looks ugly and kindof trashy. Most of the leggings they get are from Hollister</3, and most of the leggings they wear are brown. But this one girl at school was wearing white leggings with a jean miniskirt and white shirt, and it looked disgusting.

Yuck. One of the most ugliest trends I've ever seen. I see girls in my school wear leggings to the mid-calves underneath a miniskirt or just leggings with Uggs. It looks freaking ugly.

i was the first one to start it at my school. i didnt even know about the trend but i found some in my closet from dance. and i started to do leggings underneath bermuda shorts before designers started to do it late last year.

i think its okay. but now, the whole leggings udnerneath a skirt is getting rediculous mostly because people are wearing it when its not even theyre "style."

Some people can pull it off, only if you're insanely skinny though, if not, please don't wear leggings.

Uggs with legging - omg, yuck. Ugg alone are okay but with legging it's just too much going on.
I think legging looks good with skinny jeans - well thats why I do.
Legging is coming back now because of Spring/Summer & mini skirts.

leggings are cool as long as you wear them right. NOT WITH UGGS. ew. since they've been out for a while, you have to add something different for them to look original. like stripes or bright colors. i want some red ones :)

I really like leggings. I have a pair of grey and black striped ones with lace at the ends. Nobody in my area has worn leggings yet so im hoping to be one of the first people to show up to school in some. I want to get polka dot and black ones as well, and i saw really cute white ones.

i just pictured it in my head; and i think it looks kinda dumb if its worn with a short skirt ontop. i guess some people could pull it off, but its something that i would never wear.

for some people leggings are fine, but others shouldn't wear because it doesn't really look that good on them

depends on the person. Some look nice in leggings. Some don't.

The fashion right now is having the leggings stop before they reach your ankles.
I, personally, think it looks good on the right people; I wear them with skirts like that.

I have 2 pairs black,and gray.
I wear them with uggs since they come up to my ankle
I wear them with mini skirts.

It's okay. I have one pair of leggings, so sometimes I'll do the whole skirt/legging thing. My friend got mad at me for doing it once, which is probably the reason I wear 'em in the first place. I don't know why, but if you tell me to do one thing I'll do the exact opposite. Anyways, it's cute once in a while.

I hate leggings. I hate the fabric, the way they stop at the ankle, the way they look....ugh. Never liked 'em. Not even in the '90s when I was like 5 and forced to wear them.

If you already have fat thighs, light-colored leggings (being tight) would accentuate them, making them look fatter.

I only use leggings to avoid getting in trouble for wearing short skirts at school, but our district has now made a rule that you still can't wear skirts above mid thigh even with leggings. Which bothers me because it makes no sense since they're .. like pants.

Wearing black leggings would actually make you look slimmer.

That's why I wear leggings with mini skirts because my thighs are too fat to wear just a mini skirt.

Leggings are okay, it all depends on who is wearing them.

Today, this girl in my school wore black leggings. BLAH, it looked digustingly horrible on her. She looked like she was a walking toothpick. She weighs less than 80 and she's tall too. She wore a pink and black ruffled miniskirt with a green tanktop.

EWW.
But I think it looks good on certain people.
