Erf. I had to bring this topic back because I just came back from it. I know, I'm underage, but it's ooberly easy to sneak in. Anyways, the movie was so freaking scary. I know why it's rated R. Even though, I wasn't scared REALLY bad. just scared. i snuck in with 2 friends and they said they jumped like a mile high.

Since I have searched for this topic and there were none, I decide to make one. Please close if there is one already. I apologize for not searching good enough.
I saw this last night and I thought it was scary. Suprisingly, it was rated 1 star and .whatever. This movie was actually good to me. I was scared for the rest of the night until I watched Kung-Fu something.
Anyways, what do you guys think of it? Here's the trailor:
http://movies.about.com/od/theamityvilleho...yvill122004.htmKatch Em' & Kill Em'^ Sorry if that ruined it for everybody. I don't think it did but yeah. Sorry if it did.

Dude. How long did you live here? What part? That's freaking cool. You need to come back before July.
Anyway, I want to see it. My dad went to the actual house once before I was born. He didn't say anything scary happened, though.

I saw it on Friday night. It sucked cause I went with a guy I thought I like and he kept trying to make out with me. LMAO. Anyway, the movie was scary at some scenes... but it doesnt have a lasting effect on me. Usually when I come home from a scary movie, I get really paranoid and scared in the dark for some reason, but after watching Amityville Horror, it didnt happen. I slept soundly that night, actually.

Lol! Yeah, I slept good at night too.
The only reason why I'm scared of movies basically cause of the loud music they play. Like, all of the sudden this loud music pops out of no where and you jump. Also, when there's something sickenly happening.

^ haha, that's crazy
but no, I haven't seen the new one, I saw the really old one and it showed that part where the dude kills his family in the beginning. did it show that in the new one? I'm pretty sure its based on a true story because I waxs watching on some news chnnel that they interviewed someone who lived in there and that guy left because of the weird things happenening in the house like when he was in a room alone he felt someone slap him or something, and no one was in the room.
