Excuse Letters

The routine is familiar: when a student is late or absent from school, a letter from the parents must be supplied for the absence to be excused. Sometimes such letters suggest that the parents were excused from school too many times in their own youth.

* "My son is under a doctor's care and should not take P.E. today. Please execute him." executing??? i wouldn't do that if i am a school admin.

* "Please excuse Lisa for being absent. She was sick, and I had her shot." r.i.p. lisa -.-

* "Dear School: Please ekscuse John being absent on Jan. 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and also 33." january has more than 31 days?!

* "Please excuse Gloria from Jim today. She is administrating." wtf? EDIT: Jim=gym, administrating=menstrating (sp?), thx for karamelle to screw in the lightbulb for me

* "Please excuse Roland from P.E. for a few days. Yesterday he fell out of a tree and misplaced his hip." rofl

* "John has been absent because he had two teeth taken out of his face." there are teeth in the face?

* "Carlos was absent yesterday because he was playing football. He was hurt in the growing part." eh, wow i would be absent every single day

* "Megan could not come to school today because she has been bothered by very close veins." lol

* "Chris will not be in school cus he has an acre in his side." acre? it should be acne/ache i guess.

* "Please excuse Ray Friday from school. He has very loose vowels." vowels are a, e, i, o, u, how could they be loose?

* "Please excuse Tommy for being absent yesterday. He had diarrhea, and his boots leak." wtf, boots leak?

* "Irving was absent yesterday because he missed his bust." lmao

* "Please excuse Jimmy for being. It was his father's fault." what's that supposed to mean? EDIT: see karamelle's comment, but that still cracks me up once i know what that means

* "Please excuse Jennifer for missing school yesterday. We forgot to get the Sunday paper off the porch, and when we found it Monday, we thought it was Sunday." that is just stupid

* "Sally won't be in school a week from Friday. We have to attend her funeral." r.i.p. sally

* "My daughter was absent yesterday because she was tired. She spent a weekend with the Marines." that girl is so...

* "Please excuse Jason for being absent yesterday. He had a cold and could not breed well." too early to think about "breeding"

* "Please excuse Mary for being absent yesterday. She was in bed with gramps." sleeping with grandparents? i think it should be "cramps"

* "Gloria was absent yesterday as she was having a gangover." bad girl

* "Please excuse Burma, she has been sick and under the doctor." under the doctor =.=

* "Maryann was absent December 11-16, because she had a fever, sore throat, headache, and upset stomach. Her sister was also sick, fever, and sore throat, her brother had a low grade fever and ached all over. I wasn't the best either, sore throat and fever. There must be something going around, her father even got hot last night." haha

I think they meant menstrating...like her period?

They meant to say ache like a pain

They meant for being late left out the word. So its like excuse him for living. And since his father has to have sex with the mom, it would be his fault. lol I love that one really.

Not really funny after reading like 5 of them. Perhaps the school board should hire better writers and typers.
yukichan

i like that one.
Paradox of Life
Those aren't real letters if perhaps you haven't already figured that out. The first place I read them said they were real but I figured out they were fake when they started using the name "Little Jimmy" and stuff like that. A lot of people are stupid, but a collection of that many stupid excuse notes (written by stupid people) would be extraordinary.

And the commentary is kind of stupid (not funny).

I actually don't think those are funny..
