I'm thinking about buying this straightener, because I need a good hair iron. Has anyone tried it and if so, is it worth buying? Or do you think there is a better iron? :)

that looks like a good iron but..........i don't think it is worth it....other cheap straightners work good to

don't let nice designs and cheap talk convince you. I don't care if they show examples on tv, that doen't prove that it's good. Especially since everyone's hair type varies. I mean, look what they said for the revo styler! Try something at your local store first before burning a hole in your pocket.

i dont know if that works well but, i wouldnt put my money on it. you can find cheaper ones that work well

Hmm, your right about the revo styler, it doesn't work great!! I don't have it, but my friend does. I'll see if I'll try the CHI iron, my friends sister is a hair styist and recommended it.

yeah i agree with eveyrone. you can buy a 20 dolars straingter that probably work the same at longs

OMG i have that one! ahahah i got it for 80 dollars though. And it does work. My hair is super curly and it works faster than the old straightener i had.

I saw an infomercial last night about it. It looks like it doesn't work that good. And it's around $130, so I wouldn't recommend it. Just go to Wal-Mart or some beauty supply store and pick one up for $30.

I have this straigtener and it is SO AWESOME!!! My sister has it, and when I tried hers, I had to have it. Mom got it for me as a gift, only she got it off a home shopping network channel online, don't remember which one, for $80. It is worth every penny!!! My sister tried a few before finding this one. She has short wavy hair. My hair is very long and wavy, and it takes me 10 minutes to straighten my hair. I've seen my sister use this on several different hair types, all with amazing results. My cousin has the thickest, curliest hair you could imagine, and after trying my sister's Maxiglide, she went and bought it herself. It takes her 20 minutes to straighten her hair. It used to take her 1 1/2 hrs to blow dry it straight, and the Maxiglide does a much better job in less than 1/3 the time. The steam feature is awesome, this does not damage your hair at all. :)

My sister tried a few different straighteners before this one, including the Conair one, and none came close to the results with this one.

I got my straightner at Target for 15 bucks & it works awesome..

Get a cheap one, it works. =P

The thing is, I've had cheap irons and they don't do the trick. I've tried the CHI frommy friend and I loved it. So I'm thinking about the CHI or this one. Just wondering how you all got it for 80 dollars?

**I meant to say that the cheap ones frizz up your hair faster. They straighten, but damage it.

straighteners never work on my hair but i'm sure conair has a good one. they usually have good hair stuff =)

omg i got that for my sis, its really great and even though my hairs straight i sometimes use it to dry my hair and all, i can finish doing my hair in like 20-30 min (because its managable) but hers takes like 45.. still that thing is awesome. it only cost $30 too. i wouldnt pay over that for one anyway, thats just me though.

Mhm, I've seen it - I don't think you should buy such an expensive hair product though. It's your choice.

If you straighten your hair a lot, spend some money on a good one.
I have a gold plated professional one that goes up over 400 degrees.
I think it was like $39.99.
It works really good and only takes me like 3 minutes to straighten my hair.

Dont use a flat iron , it just burns your hair!

Blow it out naturally , or get your hair straightened.

If you're going to buy expensive straightners such as that one, then you should just get your hair straightened at a salon. It's easier.
