well, my prom is in like 3 weeks. im going alone. out of all of my friends, im the only one going solo. is that a bad thing? i feel so ALONE. i feel like a loser. i mean im not, but i guess thats how people will picture me. what can i do to build my confidence up for the big night while alone? gimme some advice!! thanks!!

mm..... i think u should do things in a group, and be optimistic. ^^
there's no loser in the world unless u feel u r a loser. talk more to fds, join more activities, then u'll be able to build up ur confidence~~ ^^

omg dont worry your getting yourself stressed over nothing....i went to my prom alone but i got some of my juinor friends to come over and help me get dolled up before hand and we had soo much fun, just messing about and chilling... you should meet up with your friends after or have everyone come back to your place... and i had a great time at my prom... lots of people arrive with their dates but then they just go off and stay with their friends till the end of the night so chances are your just gona have a good time dancing with your girlfriends....

Going alone to prom shouldnt make you feel like a loser. I admire you for deciding to go alone because alot of girls I know would think it is the end of their world if they didnt have a date. I didnt go to my prom when I was in high school but I did have a three of my friends that went solo as well and they really did enjoy themselves. So focus on the fact that this a night to let loose and have fun!

going alone to the prom seems like a very rare thing for girls. you shouldn't feel like a loser going alone, it also doesn't matter what others think of you if you go alone. the only thing you should care about is having fun.

Just have fun. ^_^ I went to Prom by myself last year, and all it means is you aren't dragging someone around the entire time.

hey, don't worry about it.. i was all set on getting a date, but then i realized that there really wasn't anybody that i wanted to go with, so i think im gonna go alone to prom. no matter what, there is always somebody else that's gone stag too, so you won't be a loser. besides, just make the most of your night, its the last big event of your high school career!

is prom about having a date? no > prom is about having fun. just go there and have fun.

you could go with a guy friend, just as friends. or get another solo girl or solo guy and go with all your friends and make it a big group date.
