I think there is too much fundamental attribution error here. Almost everyone blames the person for being sick, not the situation for being provoking. Though there are some of you who attribute it to the teacher or another student arousing the masturbater. I think one thing that plays a large role in these guys actions is testosterone. If you go to the bathroom then you are handling it in a logically way. Another thing that I feel is a great influence in my sexual thoughts and in this situation is sexual recognition. I've kinda of got my own theory that people want to be recognized for their sexual capacity, their body, and as a sexual human being. Like almost always I want to be seen naked, I don't care by who either. I think sexual recognition and acceptance of our own sexual tendencies, as well as other influential things that I am still exploring, all go in to create a balance between the sexual and the normal, to make sexual things normal. I think the one of the main reasons for mine and other peoples desire for sexual recognition comes from the division our society makes between the sexual and the normal. Like how nudity is indecent exposure, it is seen as awkward and inapproiate, while in fact it is completely natural. Is it any wonder we want to be seen naked to balance this conflict so that we can truly interpret nudity as normal and natural. I believe that is one of the main reasons I was playing at the urinal. Sure, I was horny, but I WANTED to be seen naked or playing with myself. (I think most of this goes for teenager, freshly being introduced to the sexual reality of the world.) Or maybe it goes the other way for some people, they want to suit society's view on nudity and sex. It is probably not hard for these people to accept sex, sex is all over the tv and everything and is portrayed as normal, but these people may not feel comfortable with their own sexuality in other instances, such as masturbating or public nudity. They may be disturbed by someone's genitals showing in public, and more embarrassed to be caught masturbating than to be caught having sex. These people can only accept their sexual tendencies as far as they believe society accepts sexual tendencies.

One other thing that I felt influenced me to do once or twice in class and at the urinal a few times was because I was and still am a virgin and I wanted to try something new and different. A little dash of interesting, with a mixture of doing something different and the fear of being caught. And I feel if it influences me that way, it would influence others in a similar manner.
