well just like the title says...today is the anniversary of MLK's assasination. How sad. i wonder what it would be like if he was still alive....
what are yalls thoughts on it?

Isn't it funny, once he died we haven't had ONE person that has changed America like he has.......he was awesome

"Smacks imafreakinazn* how dare u! it doesn matter where this is put. im offended (thought im not black, id be though of if he didnt do his speech) His amazing speech changed everything, laws, rules, EVERYTHING. he is not *just* a celebritiy, he was a hero. I hope u learn something from my lecture lolz

yea martin king did alot for us.. he made changes that were thought to be impossible. great man he was..

Yeah, may he R.I.P. He changed a lot of things. If it wasn't for him, a lot of racism between the whites and blacks would still be happening.

i hope to be the next Martin Luthor King. i'm white, and i still see him as my greatest hero. he tought me that i am not free until everyone is free, and that violence only causes more violence. R.I.P. Dr. King.

to be fair, he didnt say we shouldnt celebrate martin luther king, just no this 'death-day'. i agree, i think the birthday is more appropriate
he's been my hero since i was about 7

His speech didn't change anything. It was the tireless effort behind the scene by himself, the campaigners, lobbyists and most importantly the American people that changed everything. Damn good speech though.
Today is also the day for Kurt Cobain, as can be seen in Kurt Cobain RIP below. Check it out, the ball stopped rolling at 4 AM last night.
