I just want to see which car is the most prefered...

hMmM.. depends wat u wanna use it for. racing? i'd have to say.. skyline. drifting? prob skyline too. rally? that's all on the evo

why would you prefer an evo for rallying instead of a skyline? a skyline would actually out perform an evo when it comes to rally racing. infact, it would out perform it so much that it's not allowed to enter in rally racing. it has too many technological advancements that would give other cars an unfair disadvantage. anyways, since the skyline isn't even available here, i'd go with the evo.

yes, i know you can import one, but you gotta be f**kin LOADED, plus it's right hand drive.. can't go through tollways or drive thru's. maintenance and performance upgrades on it will also be a pain in the ass, no one here in the states works on skylines, only a few people which probably live in another state, so you're pretty much screwed unless you become your own mechanic.

Are you serious? I gotta see it to believe it. I have never thought of putting a Skyline in Rally Racing. It doesn't seem right, to me.

yea, me too, that's y i put for rally the evo, becuz i've NEVER seen a skyline in a rally race or even mentioned. and if it's tru, then ur right, skylines i guess are king of the japanese imports

Well I love Nissan Skylines.

Most people don't even care. They just think that a car is a car! Then there you have it, no favorite brand, they just want something that can bring them places.

i think both cars are overrated. i dont really like the lancer, its getting too popular, and the skyline is too freaking hard to get over here in the states. I'd rather have a supra or a sylvia aerospec. Im not too big on the evo cause once they changed the body style i lost intrest for it. I think the lancer evolution 34 was the best one. But the skyline has always kinda looked the same for some reason 0_o. But yeah, I'd get a supra twin turbo, and wipe the floor with an evo.

I'm sorry i love nissan but that evo is a little beast!

on AutoX that will dominate! (higher entrance/exiting speed)
on Rally that will dominate (it was made for this!)
on drag stock vs stock thats hard, a lot of factors fall into play; can the drivers actually know how to drive?, weather conditions, tires, mood of the drivers

on a side note its really cheap to get a DSM to run 10 sec in a 1/4 mile

for nissan i would suggest.. altima.. (for pimpin).. maxima 2k1.. (for sport/luxury or if u wana fix it up).. skyline.. (if your rich enough and u wana show off badly).. z350 ( my fav. if you wana drift all over da place)

mitsubishi:
eclipse.. (if you wana be part of the "group").. 3000gt spider if u wana be stupid.. lancer evo 8 if ur smart

skyline. im not a HUGE fan of it (cause i love the toyota supra), but if it came down to putting everypart that each car was able to get, the skyline would perform better. you can do anything in hte car. drift, drag, rally, anything.. and hte skyline is the best car for all of them. but other than that, it all depends on how much money you put into the car. the evo is nice, but the skyline is the king of jap imports. hands down

The Lancer is pretty good for things like Auto X or rally becuase of it shorter wheelbase. Now as for the skyline you people keep saying its good for drifting. Unless you want to do an AWD drift you have to remove the front wheel drive fuse. But the skyline has to be the better car overall. If it is the GTR model it has an RB26DETT. If its the non GTR model it has the RB25DETT. Both are very powerful engines. As for the EVO it has the 4G63 a good engine overall. But if you ask which is more powerfull its the RB26DETT. Hands down. Twin turbo over single turbo. Ill talk a BNR34 Grt Skyline with an RB26DETT.

Nissan makes horrible cars. Skyline is probably their only car thats pretty good... out of all Skylines R32 is the best... screw the R33-34 and their AWD

It can't even drift because of its sheer size and weight alone
