I mean the casting was pretty good, but the acting was just wayyyyyyy too overdramatic in the first episode.
I went back to the manga, and re-read it again for like the 10th time.

I think that the drama needs to be overdramatic. It's the only way to make a manga > drama more...believable, I guess.

I looveee the actors. They actually really grew on me. The only flaw I notice is that Sano's a lot more serious/has more of a temper in the manga than the drama. Not that Wu Zun isn't a good actor, because he really improved a lot from his last drama [cough. off subject]. Either that, or I just wish Sano was really real. XD Hahah.

My friend told me about this, and she's OBSESSED with it. I guess it's good, so I'll start watching it soon.

i read the manga but never finished it, i think i read up to v. 19 or something, the story is soooo good i also watched a little bit of the drama version.. personally i don't really like it

Eh....I watched most of the first episode. It's okay, but it's not great. =/ Some parts are just really corny.

I guess most of it is. But the actors just grow on me so much.

The main character girl (haven't read the manga in quite a while) is weird. And I thought that in the manga the main character girl is American? Just wondering ..

In the manga Mitsuki (her name) is Japanese American.

Hana-Kimi is a good manga, but I haven't watched the drama. People have said that the drama has a sucky ending. I don't know.

Partially because it's a cliffhanger.
