I have the pencil eyeliner, but cant use it! It is hard for me to push down on the bottom lid. Any tricks? Or maybe a better 'glide' on pencil kind?

I KNOW!! i put it on the actual lid which actually looks really good but rubs off very easily.

I cant even get it even on the lid part!

hehe.. im addicted to eye liner so lets see.. yeah.. its probably the kind of eye liner youre using. i usually use N.Y.C. it works great. right now i'm using Singature eye liner.. it works great, too.

use prestige pencil eyeliner. it's very good, and very cheap.

you should pull your lower lid down and look up while still sorta looking down at the lid in the mirror .. know what i mean ? then slowly just go over it back and forth, until its the way you like it.

i use this loreal thingy that smudges ... i dont like smudgy.

liquid eyeliner is easier to apply but with a lil practice with your pencil eyeliner you should be able to get it down

the pencil eyeliner doesn't go on as easy.. sometimes you gotta heat it up so it gets soft and goes on.. I use swivel up eyeliner.. it glides on and stays on very well.. liquid works good too, but it takes a little more practice

or get.. Too Faced Lava Eyeliner.. something like that. pricey though

Yea. I cant get it on the bottom lash either..So I just put it on the actual lid. After a while it wears off..Nd its on the lash line.

i only know how to put on mascara and lipstick xP always wanted to try eyeliner, but i cant let things near my eye >< especially THAT near

but for pencil, use a lighter and warm the tip just a bit...goes on much nicer

Technically, pencil eyeliner is for the top lid and liquid eyeliner is for the bottom lid.

I would suggest getting black eyeshadow and drawing it on like eyeliner. That's what most celeb makeup artists do. It's a lot softer on the eyes.

i use the pencil. i used to use NYC but now i use covergirl. when the pencil is new, it's too sharp for me to apply it to my eye. i usually take a tissue and wear it down a little. then it's easier to apply. eyeliner is so much fun to experiment with!

When I have a stubborn eye liner I always get my moms lighter and I run the tip through the flame just for a little second. It makes it go on like liquid and it stays on soo long. I go through eye liner like mad.

i put it on very randomly but on the top of the lid and then smudge it slightly so it looks normal. but for the bottom one, i do VERY carefully and i like pull my eye down and use the side of the pencil to apply the...stuff

eyeliner is really hard to put on at first. my first one was NYC but it actually was kinda stubborn and i had trouble with it but it was fine after a while. my friend helped me out with it. but then i lost that pencil.......so in italy, when i went there with my friends, i got a Dior swivelup eyeliner + shadow in one. it works pretty well. im actually worse at putting it on my upper lid than my bottom one though.

huh. when i use regular pencil eyeliner, after a few hours it creases and then it's just like a few really thin black lines on my eyelid. maybe cause i'm asian. dunno.

i actually find liquid harder to apply; it's hard for me to make the thickness of the lines same on each eye. and then i can't blink or else it smudges. and the brush wand thingy attacks my cornea. i use rimmel.

liquid is harder. pencil isnt that hard. just practice and you'll get the hang of it.

i use the kind that you twist.. i think its by covergirl.. it goes on pretty easy and it doesnt smudge.

hmm i use a pencil for the bottom when i actually wear makeup lol...it just takes practice, or try using black eyeshadow or liquid eyeliner.

liquid eyeliner is good when u haven't quite mastered it yet. i use pencil now, but I used to use Lancome Eye something. Their liquid eyeliner, lol. It doesn't get all gooby and thick, its almost like a pencil, but is softer and goes on faster. it comes in like a mascara tube. it worked so well, and doesn't really look like liquid. its kinda pricey tho

well if it doesnt work try using a liquid one. or iff u wanna, use Stila's smudge pots with an eyeliner brush. ; )

I use eyeliner all the time.. actually im wearing it now.. it's kinda easy.. just push the lid HARD!! or maybe ur eyeliner lid is broken or smth

I find it really easy, i have a liquid one and the ordinary pencil one, i use the pencil one my often though. I cant do my top eyelid for some reason which really bugs me
