I used to love it...so yeah, when I loved it it was fun, but I just stopped watching it and moved on to other things.
the TV show I can't say much on, but the OVA (Reminiscence) is really, really good. make sure to watch it (its prequel) before the TV series.

agreed. TV series is full of filler episodes.

There are several OVAs. I saw the entire series before I saw the OVAs (one is before the series, one is during, one is after).
I enjoyed the OVAs more than the series, except for the first few episodes.

in fact it's my favorite anime (the OVA)

i kno why cuz it was getting to the bloddy and too violent to filter out i think they stop at the part where Kenshin fought the kid where he has no feeling in battle and Kenshin cant detect his move...i think...well mai favorite show at a sword fighting so far.....beside Samurai Chaploo.....OVA are the BEST

I personally like the manga better...the drawings are a lot better, try it out!
the ova movies pwn the tv show. they tell his life. he was awesome when he killed people. the tv show is awesome too... but he was wayy too nice in that.
the OVAs are amazing.
Well I gotta say, the first two seasons of Kenshin rocked, but the third one... the infamous 'Filler' season.... as for the OVA, I have yet to watch it

I agree the oavs did pwn the show. I have both OAVS and the animation was better and highly detailed. The first OAV was better than the second one though. The TV series probaly wasn't that good because once Cartoon network gets anime series it gets tainted due to editing. My cousin told me "TV series unedited and if you have watched the Cartoon Network version then you r missing out". Now Im sad.
The only thing better about the series is you can tell when he becomes battousai the manslayer because his eyes turn yellow unlike the OAV.
