You know, a better question is what is considered gay. If you consider a sport or something of that kind gay - the your most likely a homophobic and need to seek immediate help. I am a wrestler and am not really offended by it, because if I put you in my shoes at practice you would not survive, and maybe you get up at the time I do and run as much as I do - when someone does what I do, then I can respect there opinions. Until then, your 2 cents can buy some bubble gum.

JV = chill dont do much... just 5 mile runs n yea..
Varisty= non stop drilling, timed sprints, no watever break while lifting.. well.. like 2 watever breaks durring the whole practice.. (4 hours..) n yea

^excellent. 1 was a former high school wrestler too and its a tough sport. Insecure people say stupid shit like it's gay or whatnot.
When I was younger, I always thought it was pretty gay to have two men wrestle with each other in what seemed like leather underwear. But since women are more invovled, it`s become less so.

Highschool/college wrestling is very strenuous.give it a try. i myself have done this sport and it was great but the work is very tough but it all pays off in the end.

I'm not saying that Wrestling isn't a very difficult and physically demanding sport...but yeah, it's got some homo aspects to it. It's probably the second most physically demanding sport on campus behind football and even that's debateable.
i think football and wrestling are pretty much even becuase football involves alot more strength and wrestling involves more cadio vascular endurance
