so today i was doing nothing at barnes and noble because me boyfriend has his internship until 4pm, so i waste time there

i saw this guy from school as we're going down the escalator he turns to leave but i look at some cute books i used to read as a kid. as i'm looking through tiki tiki tembo someone taps me on the shoulder surprise it's him

this is the conversation...he's such a dimwit

him: you're maggie right?
me: uh yeah...
him: blank is in your english class right?
me: yes...
him: you used to go out with blank2 right?
me: uh huh
him: so what are you doing here?
me: to pass the time
him: what?
me: to pass the time!
him: to pass the what?
me: TIME!
him: no sorry i don't have the time
me in my head: you f*cking idiot -_-*
him: do you come here everyday after school?
me: no
him: okay
silence
him: i'll see you around

then he leaves, the whole time we were talking i just looked at the book and spoke in monotone, he's tried to speak to me before, i know he likes me but can't he just take a hint?

what am i supposed to do?

Flaunt your boyfriend or something.. he might not know you have one.

i'd say try and talk to him more.. but u probaly will hear better advice from the next person.
edit: i take that back, i sorta missed the boyfriend concept..

i would just talk to him and make sure he knows i got a bf..

wow he's annoying... like everyone else said, let him know you have a boyfriend. and if he still flirts with you, make your bf tell him to back off

i can't really flaunt my boyfriend to people because he gets out at 4 from his internship and no one from my school is really around anymore by 4, we get out at like 1 on certain days...and on my boyfriend's lunch break at 1 we go eat for an hour...i have no idea why that guy was in barnes and noble, he doesn't seem like the smart type...he better not have followed me

i hate talking to people at my school, most of them are just attention whores who date just to date and seem cool, not for real love...plus he's friends with a guy who used to have a crush on me and my bastard ex, the people i dislike most

i think it's a conspiracy, my ex (blank2) and the guy who had a big crush on me (blank) are good friends with this guy (the one i had the conversation with) and this other kid who also liked me -_-* i think they're all trying to see who can "get me"...it's so stupid

u dont have to be smart to go into barnes and nobles.. me and my friends go there all the time and i usually just go and read the maxim's and other mags and another one will get some paintballing mags or sports and my others would actually read a book..

my friend has finished more than 10 books there.. lol.

some people aren't that smart to get a hint ....just tell him bluntly that you have a b/f and you're not interested.

well if he doesn't talk to you for a while ... be grateful and pray to frickin god he is leaving you alone ... but when he does talk to you again ... which looks like he will... umm tell him straight to his face "yO dude i have got myself a man and don't need you as mine!!" and if he denies that he ever liked you ... just shrug your shoulders and make the "uhuh sure" kind of face.

but you never know he could just be doing this cause he finds it funny ... and if you do burst out on him he might just think it is funny that you thought he actually liked you ... but idk ... i think my first thing of advice was better ^_^
