[FONT=Arial] um... could anyone help me? i have this BIG problem .... here: i REALLY LIKE this guy but i dont think he likes me back because i KEEP hearing RUMORS that HE likes someone else... hes like the NICEST GUY that IVE EVER MET ... and hes LIKE SO ATHLETIC, POPULAR, SWEET, AND HIS INTELLIGENCE IS KINDA GOOD .... its just that my PROBLEM IS is that im smart and everyone calls me a NERD .... i just hate it when they call me that ... i dont know why ... its just that its insulting to call a SMART person that... and so... " NERD " PPLZ are ALWAYS CONSIDERED " UNPOPULAR " .... AND I HATE BEING UNPOPULAR .... NOT A LOT OF PPLZ TALK TO ME OR MY OTHER FRIENDS WHOM PPL CONSIDER " NERDS " ALSO ... well all they ask of us is ABOUT HW OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT ... and whenever someone tells a joke ... i ALWAYS LAUGH ... LOL ... I <3 JOKES! ... its just that I DONT HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR .... *sighs* i wished i would ... and im not ATHLETIC EITHER ... I GUESS HAVING A SENSE OF HUMOR OR BEING ATHLETIC would make you COOL ... i dont know ... but i want to be considered COOL .... uh ... yeah.... and so... i dont really know how to talk to this GUY I LIKE [ well... i talked to him several times cause of work or something ] ... like what if I EMBARRASS MYSELF IN FRONT OF HIM? ... i dont know ... I NEVER HAVE THE COURAGE TO SAY THAT I LIKE HIM ... and I THINK THAT I SAW HIM STARE OR LOOK AT ME FOR A FEW SECONDS ... but maybe he was STARING AT SOMETHING ElSE ... ok... i have nothing else to say ... PLZ HELP ME THOUGH! I ALWAYS THINK OF HIM AND ALSO I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT HIM... *SIGHS* if ur reading this ... this might be A LAME TOPIC but PLZ AT LEAST GIVE ME SOME ADVICE OR SOMETHING...

First, you must ask.. if we wasn't so popular or athletic, would I like him just as much? And you may be nervous around him, but if he likes you for you then if you act silly in front of him, he won't dislike you b/c of it, or even because of the fact that you're a so called "nerd". That just shows you're intellegent. Don't be afraid! Just strike up a conversation with him. He can't honestly like you until he hangs around with you and gets to know you.

if you like him just tell him. maybe if he does liek someone he'll tell you he doesnt feel the same way then move on.. or maybe if you want u can find someone new better than him or maybe it wud show him theres more options that way he might like you back or at least give u a clear answer to not waste your own time. i hope this helps. write him a note or even just ask ur frd to tell him or ask him someone you trust or casually ask him who he likes maybe if you are lucky it might be you ^^

start to TALK TO HIM and MAKE CONVERSATION...
if you know what he is INTERESTED IN, then take that to your ADVANTAGE, and attract him to YOU in some WAY...

i have the same problem. there's this guy that's popular that i like and (i think) he likes me back. i'm like a 'cool nerd' lolz jk. but you never really know if he likes you or not unless it comes directly from him. as hard as it may seem, the only thing you can really do to find out or make him notice you is to talk to him (i'm really shy around my crushes so i'd understand if that sounds scary... ) and i also understand the 'never knowing if he's looking at you or someone else' thing. its so confusing!! *sigh*
and you shouldn't just tell him you like him outright. get to know him first, then you'll know if you really like him, or if it's just a school girl crush. good luck
