yep there are and u can buy them from chinese grocery stores, they're made from green beans, are chewy and is great for hot pot, or soup.

Buckwheat noodles? From what I know...buckwheat noodles are opaque and light brown, dotted with specks. The really clear noodles are the thin Chinese ones called rice noodles. Yeah...=\

i dont think you're referring to the right noodles ... buckwheat is the BROWNISH colored ones ..with like dark brown/black specks.. used for like MOH MEEL GOOK SOO
the clear ones are used for like NENG-MYUN, MOOL NENG MYUN, JAHP CHAE, etc. ...i forgot what it's called.
