for those people who has watched Passion of the Christ. what'd you guys think of it?
i thought it was the greatest movie at all times. i mean its like history vs hollywood. even though it was very gory i gotta admit..lol its true. Jesus did have a lot of gore in his life. i am so freakin glad that Mel Gibson gave up practically all he's got of money and made the movie. so anyways just want to hear what you guys thought about this movie..

hmmm... I love that movie too. I watched it with my church youth group and 99.9% of us all cried. the parts that was realling moving was "see mother, i make all things new" and "we deserve our punishment justly, But Jesus has done nothing, He is innocent, Lord remember me in your kingdom"
The movie reminded me of 1st John 1:9 which basicly said that even though I sinned God is just a graceful and merciful god that he will forgive me and cleansse me of all unrighteousness. It was very personal because it reminded me of all the goodness and grace and mercy that he deserved instead of all the anger and condemnation that we hear about all the time. God was reminding me about grace. grace is our undeserved love we get everyday, and I am nobdy to say to anyone that they do not have it.
For those people that didn't see the movie, it is really good and I reccomend it to you because it wil change your life. Pray feverishly for your friends that are not in christ so that they may see the movie and enter the glory of God.

(Yeah, I agree. Should be moved to entertainment)
But, I thought it was a good movie, although i think it was a little bit too graphic for me.

It made me cry.
Yeah, I liked it. I don't think it's the greatest movie of all time though. I wouldn't watch Jesus gettin' tortured 50times.

when they stuck him in the side with the 9-tails, it was real. on the back, it was a padding, but when he was stuck on the side, it was really his flesh being torn apart.
and when he was hung on the cross, it was a robot version of him. awsome ehh?

Never seen it, but I've heard it was very strong/deep.
I heard in one scene, jesus gets one of his eyeballs ripped out by a crow...is that true?

I thikn the gore really distracted from the whole message of love which was the real point of the movie. I'm going to see the re-cut and I would think that it would be better.

Well to be honest, a lot of people say it's the greatest movie of all time only because Jesus is the main character. If it was someone else, they probably wouldn't even like it at all.

It was one of the rare movies that I hated to like. It was very deep and very real. I can't say I enjoyed watching it, but it was well directed and well put together.
And I do agree that just because the movie came out, and people were like, "Oh, look at how much Jesus suffered for us. Let's be all godly now" etc.
I think that the movie should have concentrated on what Jesus taught, not how he suffered for his actions. That's the real Passion of Christ.
