for my exit project i have to do it on an environmental problem that has to deal with earth science. i have to come up with a problem or aka a question.
do any of you have any ideas?
i was thinking of global warming.. but how can i display that or perform or whatever that...like..ah hard to explain.
thank you in advance!

how specific should the question/problem be?
could it be as general as "what should the international community do to reduce global warming?" .. or should it be narrowed down further?

it can be very narrow. cept..we have to do an experiemnt. so can we really prove how we could.. reduce the global warming?

global warming is too complicated.. i think that you should try doing pH samples of various rivers, lakes, and streams (or soil samples, if you wish) to see which ones are more acidic/polluted. pH strips are very easy to obtain.. you can design the experiment with the help of your teacher.

pH?
that's boring.
more of data collection too... but it could help with expirementation.
for expirementation: here's what i'd do in addition to that...
get a few plants of the same type. small ones. (one of those trays of plants with like... 12 of them would be good)
you need to put them all in a place where you control everything;
you need to make sure each gets the same about of light, each gets the same amount of water, etc.
to each plant, give them water from each stream. note the differences in pH.
also, have one plant with very acidic pH and one with very akaline pH.
look at how each plant differs, if at all.
if none of them wilt or anything, it doens't matter.
you did an expirement and got results.
