One time we were in the store and I asked if we could buy tampons instead of pads and she said only married women used tampons. Uhh..yeahh.

agreed with you. My mom is very resnoble...well, at least almost all of the time.

well actualy your mother is partialy correct, if you use a tampon you could break you hymen and technicly that means you've lost your virginity, but you really loose your compleate virginity when a guy sticks his thing in you (lol) but no my mom has never said anything stupid like that to me

My mother's exactly like that as well. I personally dislike tampons but I had swimming classes and I had to use one. She said I couldn't because if I did I would "lose my virginity". I used one anyway.

ANYWAY, it's common for foreign parents to not understand American cultures. We grew up around this. It's so much different for them. In other cultures no one is allowed to see/touch your vagina, let alone put anything up there. It’s completely unheard of.
Many foreign parents go through a series of culture shock and there way of deal with it is by totally dismissing the ideal without the knowledge of what they are saying no to.

How can you lose your virginity if you didnt do it with nobody? the tampons not a penis. Omg, but anyways, I dont think my mom said anything stupid before..not that i can remember..
