ok I keep seeing people saying that skins dont work on firefox, but they work on this or that. what is firefox and all those other things they are saying?

They're browsers, which obviously, allow you to view the internet.

Firefox is the name of the brower, as Internet Explorer is the name of that browser.

firefox is an internet browser, which is better than ordinary IE. It keeps away alot of spyware/adware filters out bad codes and such. Blocks pop up, and disables tons of annoying javascripts (Enables Right Clicks, View Source, Etc.) Most webpages setup in IE do not look right in firefox. Firefox is better for the people who are just really unlucky and virusprone. IE is for the hardcore people who enjoy spyware eating their personal information! YESSS SPYWARE MAKES ME HOT!

firefox will distort some xangas. if you make skins in firefox, then they should run in IE usually also. Firefox is the better choice if you're thinking about getting it. like others said, it blocks pop-ups 100% and it filters out adware and spyware. so it's much much safer.
