When your crush starts liking someone else other then you what do you do? do you compete with that other person?Or do you just let the other person win right away? Please tell me what you think you would do or what you do because...err...im kinda in a situation exactly like this... i bet you guys didnt understand a word i just said...and oh yeah. sorry my post is so long

here is my story that might help you answer this question:

this guy who iv been crushing on for a while liked me also for a while. but then there was this new girl that came and he started liking her other then me. i knew this because he was flirting with her and he was also spening alot of time with her. after he got to know her more it seemed as if he did not like me as much as he used to at first...do you think he still likes me? do you think i should stop liking him? do you think that i should compete with the other girl so that the guy will like me more? sorry for asking so many questions...im just really confused right now

i forgot to say that when i was around/near him he was kinda nervous. i dont think he was nervous of me that he had a crush on me or he was nevous about that other girl that he liked. i think it was because he was nevous that he knew that i was starting to know that he liked the other girl instead of me. he also knew that i had a crush on him....

sometimes i do. once i let my bestfriend win cause well everyone in school knows that she liked him and i just kept quiet about it. but after they broke up i found out that he acutally liked me

well kind of i just hang around her and ask her if she wants to do stuff thats about it.

Oh man i compete... Pain is love right, and so sometimes a mans gotta go through the dirty to get the girl he wants. Alot of the times when i find a girl, and i find out she likes someone else, i feel as though i have to be better at everything... *sigh*

i hope in the and that will happen to me... kinda like your story mabye it will turn out that he actually liked me and he was only trying to become friends with the girl but then it just went further then what he planned...

Well. I think you should just get closer to him. I'm a competitive person so I would try to know him better than her.. so he likes me more xP. But that's just me. Do what your heart tells you to.

i think i will try to get to know him better but its gonna be hard coz i dont see him to often and i need to make the time the best of it when i do see him.i dont know how ofter he sees the girls tho...

I'm kinda in the same situation as you are, and there's this girl who's always flirting with him. I'd advice you to fight for him though 'cause if he once liked you then it means he probably still likes you. Who cares about the girl, you can always steal him back. Just hang in there and see if he shows interest. Never give up unless you are sure he has lost interest, cause you'll regret it if you lost him without a fight.

well..think about the other person's happiness...they could like you as a friend..but think about it...what would you rather want....the person to be happy or you to be happy and be selfish...

No, I let them like whoever they want. I won't stop them. If he likes me, then cool. But if he likes the other girl, I'll be bummed, but I get over it.

I'm the kind who would just back off and then brood continuously over it...until i forget or until it becomes a fading memory...that's what i would do...but everyone is different...if you feel that you really can't cope with it, then talk it out with him...you don't want this period of awkwardness to drag out...if he says really likes the other girl then wish him all the best and start thinking of him as a friend...if he says he likes you then just kiss him...hehe

But whatever you do, just make sure that you will have no regrets, because 'What ifs' can sting you worse than a box jellyfish can...just think about it carefully...follow your heart (I know it's cliche...but cliches are appropriate too you know!)

ask him yourself if he lykes the new girl or if he still lykes you. if he lykes the new girl. try to move on but still keep your heart open to him. if he lykes you tell him how you feel so that its not too late.

Yes I do. Because I like the person and I become selfish and want to be with that person and also because it's out of jealousy or just because I don't realize that I'm doing it. But yeah, like others said, I like a challenge. It makes things more interesting. And I think you said he liked you before or something so if that's true then usually when people have liked someone a part of the feeling (whether big or small) is still there. So stick it out and COMPETE! haha

i dont compete, because it would just make the relationship between me and my crush (this is a hypothetical situation) and he might start hating me for competing against his crush and making her feel uncomfortable or w.e. or he might just think that you're... err... possesive

I just let it go if he likes someone else, but if another girl likes him, and I find her a threat, I let it be known that I want that, and for some reason almost every girl has backed off, they find me intimidating.
