Lucifer

As the living and the dead await judgment
To whether they will enter the sky
Unscathed from the toils of the underworld
A world in which we know nothing
Yet deem it a land where no soul should fear
But then if the kingdom of the sky
Is so great and full of mercy
Then tell me why
Would they refuse entry to the select
Where the Land of Fire would accept with open arms
To join the ranks and blossom in number
And the leader of them all –
Lucifer
How do you deem him the incarnate of all evil?
When he was shot from the heavens
And stripped of his wings
For wanting power and control
Much like us the living
There has to be something for us to blame
And to his lair of pain and suffering
Of untold torture and misery
We will go, if our lives do not meet the standard
The standard in which no one truly knows
This invisible kingdom, these invisible beliefs
We will be rewarded, or we will be punished
By powers that no one can feel
If Lucifer is of pure evil
But his origin from Heaven itself
And an angel he was
Power and might he craved
Because of that he is deemed king of all evil
Carrying with him forever the element of fire
Then he’s not so different from us now is he?
