But I can kinda understand. From what I'm getting you shouldnt ask her out if its betraying her faith. No offense but I'm sure her faith comes first and to risk it all on a "sorta" crush seems a little silly. << (lack of a better term) But then again if she DOES really like you and wants to take the risk then by all means. have fun with it.

you should respect her by respecting her religion. if she wants to betray her religion, then it`s all good, but if her parents don`t like it, you`ll be stepping on the wrong foot with them.

I guess it depends on how faithful she is with her religion though, and whether or not you would want to become Mormon as well - not for her, but for the religion. Religion isn't just a status you take because you want it for someone.
