Full Version: These racist jokes must stop
I know that this isn't where the moderators would say this topic should go but I ask that they keep it here because this is one of the places where racism is heavily. I feel as though a lot of the jokes posted targeting Blacks are racist. If you aren't black then I don't think you should be making these jokes. &dont try to come back saying that the people who make blonde jokes aren't blonde because being blonde isn't a race. I'm not mad, I'm just offended that people would have the audacity to make such lude and ludicrous jokes. & the bad thing about it the moderators dont do anything...

And no we are not specially targeting blacks, probablly asians because there are alot of us on CB. And the reasons why mods dont do anything is because, A) they know its a joke, and B) they tell jokes too.

I don't agree with whoever said that, so yeah. Black people, and any other race, should not diss their own race and any other race.
I think that ANNYYY kind of racist jokes should just friggen STOPP. Jokes being racist to your own race or not, it's all stupid.

look dude...i deal w/ racism EVERYWHERE...my school...friends houses...mall..etc.
when i come to a nice place like CB to talk to other poeple...i dont want the same to happen to eb here than it does everywhere else. this place to relax after ur hard day...not to be made fun of by little boys/girls who think there better tahn you....

I have read your links and such, and my personal feelings are resembling of clint_eastwood. If you're going to denounce racism, denounce it all. Get it through your head: when you make a racist remark about your own race, it's not helping anyone at all. Seriously, if a black person feels it's fine to say nigga, then I'll (an asian) say nigga. Maybe I look up to him, eh?*

But some racist jokes in here just aren't funny. I would tell everyone to: lighten up, but that wouldn't be of any use. So here's the official CSR version of the answer: "Please PM the author of the aforementioned racist joke and inform them that you are offended and ask them to remove the post." And then this is the part where I make baloney up, "Under the desegragation laws of Brown vs. Board, we cannot force the author to remove the post."
Nah, I just wrote all this while bored. If another mod finds racist jokes offensive, feel free to start closing some threads, I don't mind.
